I want to be clear as possible that this story below is by Magdala Louissaint, a talented and kind reporter for channel 10 that I've had a the chance to talk to briefly but also to watch her at work interviewing people–she's great.

She and her producer or camera person missed the start of the 27th weekly Sunday prayer vigil at Alligator Alcatraz and needed some footage from the start of it, which I was able to provide. It's just a few seconds–Rev. Laurie speaking about TPS and a shot of Leonie Hermantin speaking but there's a voice over saying something else. Still, I'm excited to see my footage here and especially with such a great reporter's work on such an important topic (Haitian TPS)!

Deadline nears for Haitian TPS holders as concerns grow in South Florida
Temporary Protected Status for Haitian nationals is set to end Tuesday, and across South Florida, concern is growing for those who could soon lose government approval to live and work in the United States.

Sunday’s protest, now in its eighth week, comes amid new reports of alleged medical neglect, violations of attorney-client privilege, and a large number of detainees who have all but disappeared from official federal records.
