People watching the construction beginning in front of the so-called Alligator Alcatraz, the racist joke nickname for the South Florida Detention Center deployed by the state and the guards within it, noticed that the trucks going in and out were covering their company logos.

Trucks Entering Alligator Alcatraz Are Hiding Their Logos, DOT Numbers
The contractors are illegally covering up the USDOT numbers on their trucks.

This appeared at the time to be in violation of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations, specifically Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations § 390.21.

In part this regulation reads:

Nature of marking. The marking must display the following information:
(1) The legal name or a single trade name of the motor carrier operating the self-propelled CMV, as listed on the Form MCSA-1, the URS online application, or the motor carrier identification report (Form MCS-150) and submitted in accordance with § 390.201 or § 390.19, as appropriate.
(2) The identification number issued by FMCSA to the motor carrier or intermodal equipment provider, preceded by the letters “USDOT.”
Size, shape, location, and color of marking. The marking must—
(1) Appear on both sides of the self-propelled CMV;
(2) Be in letters that contrast sharply in color with the background on which the letters are placed;
(3) Be readily legible, during daylight hours, from a distance of 50 feet (15.24 meters) while the CMV is stationary;

So, here are two trucks bearing the DOT number 370550 pulling out of the so-called Alligator Alcatraz on Sunday March 8, 2026 at about 4:11 PM but with no company logo.

For reference, here is a properly marked Doodie Calls Truck on December 14, 2025 pulling into the so-called Alligator Alcatraz with its DOT number and company logo properly displayed.

While Doodie Calls appears to be hiding their name, at least they are still displaying their DOT number. While I cannot prove Doodie Calls only started hiding their logo after it came out that they have received the largest contract of all operators at the detention center weighing in at nearly $100,000,000, it is suspicious.

Also, Doodie Calls originally signed up for a much larger ahem **** load of money to haul away human waste from the facility.

Florida originally planned $645 million for Doodie Calls; DEM says numbers changed
Florida’s emergency managers initially projected that Doodie Calls, a Southeast Florida waste management company, would be paid more than $645 million in two years for operations at the “Alligator Alc…

On Sunday, shortly after the Doodie Calls trucks with no logo rolled past the 32nd weekly prayer vigil across from the entrance to the so-called Alligator Alcatraz, at 4:22 PM this apparent prisoner transfer vehicle rolled out and past the vigil.

You'll note that while the vehicle has a license plate, it has no other markings whatsoever making it nearly impossible to identify.

A nearly identical vehicle, perhaps the same one, came from the other direction (from the West Coast, Naples direction) at 4:37 with a Florida tag/plate, which appears to be registered as an "incomplete vehicle" made by Daimler Truck North America in North Carolina in 2009.

Why, nine months after the first story of vehicles illegally hiding their logos while operating in the detention camp, are vehicles still obscuring who they are and who they are working for?
